New to the burgeoning Ramen scene of San Diego county is chef Ryuichiro Shinagawa of Basso Drillman.http://ramen-menma.com/






Known for soupless Aburasso ramen popular with the Tokyo lunch crowd, chef Shinagawa has made a splash in San Diego since opening his shop in October, 2018.



The aburasso bowl manages to pack an enormous amount of flavor into each bite, despite the brothless format. The thicker than average noodles are springy in texture and flavored with a mixture of spices and oils that leave one wanting another bite.
